Serial production of new models of heavy "Chetra" T30 and "Chetra" T45 bulldozers has started at the Promtractor plant (part of the Tractor Plants Concern, KTZ) in Cheboksary. The latter will be the most powerful serial bulldozer produced in Russia. The machines are designed for the mining and coal industries, as well as for the construction of large infrastructure facilities.
The main technical feature of the new models is a dual-flow transmission of its own design with a lockable torque converter. This solution allows increasing the productivity of equipment by 15% and reducing fuel consumption by about 8% compared to foreign counterparts.
The тяговый class of "Chetra" T30 is 30 tons, "Chetra" T45 is 45 tons. The bulldozers are equipped with modern diesel engines with electronic control, some of which are produced in Russia.
Promtractor has also developed an updated remote monitoring and control system "Trackmatics". With its help, you can track the condition of equipment, fuel consumption and location of machines in real time, as well as quickly record emergency situations.
Andrey Vodopyanov, General Director of the Tractor Plants Concern, noted that the T30 and T45 bulldozers will reduce the share of imported equipment on the Russian market. In the coming years, the company expects to occupy up to 70% of the heavy bulldozer segment in the country.
