Konstantin Ernst, General Director of Channel One, proposed promoting the Russian military-industrial complex (MIC) in order to create an attractive image of the country and export intangible assets. He recalled that the country has industries in which it has an advantage over other states.
Ernst emphasized that "the image for the country is the most important component" and Russia is "underperforming in its image".
The export of the exhibition sample of the Oreshnik missile made the right impression and created the necessary image for those who doubted its effectiveness. Because whoever has good missiles has good sweets.
Ernst added that Russia needs to stop being modest in industries with unconditional leadership. As an example, he cited the modern Su-57 fighter, which, in his opinion, represents a "powerful act of the country's image".
