Syrian airline Fly Cham clarified that the resumption of flights between Moscow and Damascus will take time.
Earlier it was reported that Syrian President Ahmed ash-Sharaa discussed direct air service with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The media reported on the agreement reached.
Fly Cham noted that there is no specific information on the resumption of flights yet, and details will be announced later.
Direct flights between Moscow and Damascus were interrupted in December 2024 after the resignation of Bashar al-Assad. Prior to that, flights were operated by Syrian Air and Cham Wings (now Fly Cham).
