The Russian aviation regulator has granted Myanmar Airways International permission to fly to Novosibirsk. This restores direct flights between Russia and Myanmar: from 1962 to 1993, Aeroflot operated flights to Yangon (Rangoon).
Myanmar Airways International will begin flights to Russia on September 5: an Airbus A319 will operate on the route, with flights twice a week. This route will make it easier for tourists and business people to travel to Southeast Asian countries.
Meanwhile, Aeroflot has announced an increase in the number of flights to Mahe (Seychelles) from two to three times a week, starting October 16. A new day has been added to the schedule — Monday. Ticket sales are already open.
