The Russian aviation regulator issued a flight permit to Myanmar Airways International for flights to Novosibirsk. Thus, direct air communication between Russia and Myanmar is restored: from 1962 to 1993, Aeroflot company was operating flights to Yangon (Rangoon).
Myanmar Airways International will start operating flights to Russia from September 5: an Airbus A319 will be deployed on the route with flights twice a week. This route will facilitate travel to Southeast Asian countries for tourists and businessmen.
Meanwhile, Aeroflot company announced the increase of flights to Mahe (Seychelles) from two times a week to three times starting from October 16. A new day — Monday has been added to the schedule. Ticket sales have already opened.
