The company "Power Machines" is exploring the possibility of building a GTE-300 gas turbine. According to the head of the company, Alexey Podkolzin, announced at the Russian Energy Week, the final investment decision may be made before the end of 2025.
We have already mentioned the topic of GTE-300 several times today. We are considering the possibility of investing in the creation of a Russian turbine, probably the largest capacity of those currently being discussed — this is the GTE-300.
It is expected that the GTE-300 gas turbine will be able to replace imported machines such as Siemens and General Electric that have exhausted their resources, thanks to its competitive technical characteristics and high efficiency.
It is assumed that the GTE-300 will have improved reliability, reduced fuel consumption and a longer overhaul period, which will make it an attractive alternative for energy enterprises.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a new production complex in Rybinsk will increase the production of domestic turbines for the energy sector.
