The opening of a new production complex in Rybinsk will expand the capabilities of the United Engine Corporation (UEC) to produce powerful domestic turbines for the needs of the energy industry. This information was received from the UEC press service.
The corporation can increase the production of high-power turbines. To do this, a new mechanical assembly complex with an area of more than 43 thousand m2 will be built. The launch of new production facilities will allow reaching mass production of up to 4 GTD-110M turbines per year. The first turbine of this type has been successfully operating at the "Udarnaya" TPP in the Krasnodar Territory since September 2024.
This ambitious project demonstrates the corporation's desire to strengthen its position in the energy equipment market and meet the growing demand for highly efficient and reliable turbines. The construction of a mechanical assembly complex in Rybinsk will not only increase production volumes but also optimize logistics chains, reduce costs, and increase the competitiveness of products.
In September 2025, the United Engine Corporation (UEC) delivered the second serial turbine to provide power supply to the southern regions of Russia. Representatives of the corporation reported that between 2025 and 2026, two more GTD-110M turbines will be delivered to the Novocherkassk GRES. The serial production of these turbines is carried out at the UEC-Saturn plant.
