LLC "Engineering Center "Kronshtadt" (until May 2025 – LLC "Gazpromneft-Yamburg") is considering the possibility of developing and subsequently manufacturing aviation components. This became known from sources familiar with the project implementation.
One of the interlocutors said that the aviation direction in the Engineering Center "Kronshtadt" was separated into a separate legal entity — LLC "Kronshtadt Innovations". According to "SPARK-Interfax", the company was registered on March 14, 2025 in St. Petersburg. Formally, it is not associated with the Engineering Center "Kronshtadt". SPARK indicates that the main activity of "Kronshtadt Innovations" is the production of parts and accessories for aircraft and spacecraft.
Presumably, PJSC "Yakovlev" will form the technical task as an integrator and customer, and LLC "Kronshtadt Innovations" will carry out the development and production of prototypes as a contractor. Gazprom Neft has the necessary personnel and competencies, including in the production of polymers and composites.
The company is also actively exploring opportunities for cooperation with other participants in the aviation industry, including aircraft manufacturers, equipment suppliers and research organizations.
Currently, the aviation industry is critically short of component suppliers for Russian aircraft, experts note.
Earlier www1.ru reported that ODK shared information about new developments of the TV7-117V turboprop engine.
