The Russian Armed Forces use advanced drones that have practically no alternatives in terms of altitude and range. This was stated by Captain of the First Rank of the Reserve, military expert Vasily Dandykin.
According to him, there are kamikaze drones in service that have a planned one-way flight, and there are unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that go to long distances, conduct reconnaissance and return back.
In particular, this is the "Okhotnik" drone, which works in tandem with the Su-57 or independently. We have the "Inokhodets" drone. This is a fairly advanced drone with artificial intelligence. There is a reconnaissance drone that then returns by parachute. This is the "Orlan-10".
The military expert added that Russia has a huge advantage in drone saturation - especially in terms of altitude and range.
Geran-2 kamikaze drones began to be equipped witha new warhead with air detonation. The smart high-explosive fragmentation warhead is equipped with a lidar that ensures detonation at a given altitude.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that Iran has rethought the Yak-130 and equipped the aircraft with an air-to-air missile system.
