The new project is included in the framework of state programs for the development of the defense industry and armaments for 2018–2027.

The planned facility will include a radio-technical measurement facility, a block-modular boiler room, and other structures.

The radio-technical facility is a single-story production building with two-story annexes, which will house industrial equipment on a monolithic reinforced concrete foundation. There are also plans to build a block-modular boiler room.

In the summer of 2025, Tupolev lost a lawsuit to Tatneft due to the supply of Tu-214 aircraft. The company warned of the risk of bankruptcy. The Arbitration Court of Tatarstan partially satisfied the claim for an amount of more than 6 billion rubles including penalties.

Tupolev PJSC is a manufacturer of strategic missile-carrying bombers Tu-160M, Tu-22M3, and Tu-95MS.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the new North Korean Hwasong-11Ma system suspiciously resembles the Iskander-M.
