Tupolev PJSC (part of Rostec) will allocate 1.5 billion rubles for the construction of a new radio-technical measurement facility. The facility will appear on the territory of the Kazan Aviation Plant named after Gorbunov.
The new project is included in the framework of state programs for the development of the defense industry and armaments for 2018–2027.
The planned facility will include a radio-technical measurement facility, a block-modular boiler room, and other structures.
The radio-technical facility is a single-story production building with two-story annexes, which will house industrial equipment on a monolithic reinforced concrete foundation. There are also plans to build a block-modular boiler room.
In the summer of 2025, Tupolev lost a lawsuit to Tatneft due to the supply of Tu-214 aircraft. The company warned of the risk of bankruptcy. The Arbitration Court of Tatarstan partially satisfied the claim for an amount of more than 6 billion rubles including penalties.
Tupolev PJSC is a manufacturer of strategic missile-carrying bombers Tu-160M, Tu-22M3, and Tu-95MS.
