The «Zanoza» cable-laying drone for laying a communication line between positions in the air was developed for the Russian army. This was announced by an official representative of the Groza group of companies.
The «Zanoza» cable-laying drone provides a communication line between various positions through the airspace, including minefields and difficult terrain. The cable layer is one of the configurations of the modular FPV drone «Zanoza».
According to the developers, to implement the communication function between shelters, the drone is equipped with a coil (bobbin), onto which a fiber optic cable is pre-wound. After that, the drone lays it on its own.
The organization clarified that a durable armored fiber optic cable, resistant to external influences, is used to lay the communication line.
