Certification work on MC-21-310 aircraft with domestic PD-14 engines will be completed in 2026. This was announced by the head of the Aviation Certification Center of the State Research Institute of Civil Aviation (FSUE GosNII GA), Oleg Stradomsky.
According to him, after the certification of aircraft is completed, one can be completely confident in their safety.
This year and in 2026, work on the certification of import-substituted versions of aircraft will be completed. This is the MC-21 with domestic PD-14 engines.
