Искусственный интеллект задействуют в РФ для проверки книг на пропаганду наркотиков

Publishing house editors will decide whether to use the new program or not

Starting this November, Russian publishers will have access to an innovative program based on artificial intelligence. It will help them identify the presence of prohibited information about narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in books. This was announced by Vladimir Grigoriev, Director of the Department of State Support for Periodical Press and the Book Industry of the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia.

The AI-based program will operate under the supervision of Roskomnadzor. It is claimed that it showed impressive efficiency during testing. According to Grigoriev, the final decision on the use of such software will remain with the editors of publishing houses.

The Ministry of Culture of Russia previously prepared a draft decree "on the rules for marking works of art that contain information about drugs and psychotropic substances." Initially, the document was supposed to come into force on September 1, but its entry into force was postponed to March 1, 2026.
