Modernized Il-114-300 aircraft will be equipped with the TV7-117ST-01 engine. The 3100 hp turboprop will ensure the operation of the aircraft even in the conditions of the North and highlands, the United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of the Rostec State Corporation) noted.
The combined modernized engine and propeller control unit will ensure high reliability of the power plant.
Thanks to the use of a modern engine, the Il-114-300 aircraft can take off and land on short and unpaved runways.
The most modern technologies were used in the creation of the TV7-117ST-01 engine — a digital automatic control system, new domestic materials for blades, and an improved turbine. All this makes the engine more powerful and quieter than its predecessors, while providing fuel efficiency.
The St. Petersburg enterprise "UEC-Klimov" for the TV7-117ST-01 engine also created a combined modernized engine and propeller control unit.
Earlier www1.ru reported that UEC will provide round-the-clock maintenance of PD-8 and PD-14 for airlines.
