Kalashnikov Group Presents the Skat-350M Universal Serial Unmanned Aerial Vehicle at the Innoprom. Belarus Exhibition

The drone is equipped with a Russian-made "friend-or-foe" system and two-way communication between aircraft

The Kalashnikov Group presented the SKAT 350M universal serial unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for civilian use to the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Volfovich, at the Innoprom. Belarus international industrial exhibition, which takes place from September 29 to October 1 in Minsk.

The SKAT-350M is a "flying wing" of reinforced construction equipped with an electric power unit, which is adapted for parachute landing. Its wingspan is 3.2 m, which allows it to perform tasks at different altitudes. The UAV does not have protruding and fragile elements that are prone to damage during landing. The drone is launched from a catapult.

The low-noise electric motor and the ability to work around the clock make it possible to successfully use the SKAT 350 M UAV in specially protected natural areas without threatening the ecosystem.

The drone has exceptional range and flight time characteristics. For each operational flight, the UAV covers a distance of at least 240 km. The UAV is capable of reaching a maximum speed of up to 120 km/h. The autonomous operation period is about four hours. In this regard, it can be safely stated that it has record air time and flight range for its class. The UAV's operating temperature, which ranges from -45 to +45 °C, is also impressive. The SKAT 350 M is stably used regardless of the terrain at wind speeds of up to 15 m/s and high cloud cover.

In addition, the SKAT 350 M is equipped with remote identification equipment (a "friend-or-foe" system) of Russian production. Test flights confirmed the successful transmission of a signal at a distance of over 40 km from the airfield, which significantly exceeds the characteristics of similar UAVs. The new equipment provides two-way communication between aircraft and airport control services, thereby increasing the level of flight safety.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that UZGA demonstrated the future capabilities of aircraft construction - the UTS-800 aircraft.
