"Zhatayskaya Shipyard" will be launched by the end of the year. This was announced by the director of the shipbuilding plant, Vlad Permyakov.
To date, readiness is at 95%. Moreover, we have divided the project into several launch complexes, and last year we already put the slipway into operation, and this year in the spring we completed the workshop part. We plan to complete construction and installation work by the end of October. And in November, a full set of documents, submit reports and obtain permission to put it into operation.
However, in practice, the shipyard has already begun its work. Currently, the company is building the first ferry.
This is a 20-meter long ferry for the agricultural needs of one of the regions of the republic. It is designed to transport tractors, equipment for haymaking
The construction of the shipyard began in 2019. It was planned to be completed in 2020, but the timing of the commissioning of capacities has been repeatedly postponed.
The opening of the "Zhatayskaya Shipyard" will ensure the creation of a modern river fleet for cargo transportation in the Lena basin and the Arctic zone, including routes along the Northern Sea Route. By 2036, the shipyard plans to build about 100 river vessels. The area of the object is 20 thousand square meters.
