Фейерверки на Солнце: три сильные вспышки зафиксировали 26 и 27 сентября

The latest M1.1 class flare lasted 9 minutes

Three flares of the penultimate power class were recorded on the Sun on September 26 and 27. This was reported to TASS at the Institute of Applied Geophysics (FSBI "IPG").

On September 27, at 06:59 Moscow time, an M1.0 flare lasting 49 minutes was recorded in the X-ray range in group of spots 4226 (S12W09). At 07:23 Moscow time, an M1.1 flare (N16E73) lasting 9 minutes was recorded in the X-ray range.

On the evening of September 26, an M1.6 flare occurred, lasting 18 minutes.

The Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the IKI and ISZF also recorded increased flare activity with the possibility of further growth. At the same time, the geomagnetic situation remains calm.

Given that the growth in activity partially affects the central regions of the Sun, the risks for the Earth have been increased in the forecasts, but so far this increase is abstract. No specific events, including large ejections of plasma towards the planet, have yet been recorded.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Sun erupted in a long flare.
