The Russian market is preparing to launch the flagship Sollers ST9 pickup, which is a rebadged version of the Chinese JAC T9.
The ST9 with a gasoline engine is equipped with a two-liter unit with a capacity of 224 hp in the Premium configuration, costing 3,499,000 rubles, the pickup has a mechanical locking rear differential, while the Ultimate version (3,575,000 rubles) is equipped with an electronic lock. Models with a 2.0-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 163 hp are offered at a price of 3,720,000 and 3,795,000 rubles for the Premium and Ultimate configurations, respectively. All options are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
The standard equipment of the ST9 includes 18-inch wheels, leather trim for the seats and steering wheel, mirrors with electric folding, adjustments and heating, a keyless entry system, front and rear parking sensors, all-round cameras, rain sensors and a cruise control system and heated front seats. Auxiliary systems include a hill start assistant.
The interior is equipped with a 7-inch color instrument panel and a 10.4-inch central display of the multimedia system, supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For connecting devices, there are three USB connectors, including Type-C. Sound is provided by six speakers of the audio system.
Production of the Sollers ST9 has been established at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. It is planned that the ST9 will be transformed into an SUV in the future, the assembly of which will begin in 2026. It is expected that this model will receive an original body, an updated interior and an engine with unique settings.
