Solar explosions continue: strong flare recorded on September 24

The M1.0 flare lasted 47 minutes

A powerful flare occurred on the Sun on September 24. This was reported at the Institute of Applied Geophysics (FSBI "IPG").

On September 24, at 12:31 Moscow time, an M1.0 flare lasting 47 minutes was recorded in the X-ray range in group of spots 4224 (S12W44).

For several days, slightly increased flare activity has been observed with moderate risks to Earth.

On September 23, a flare of the penultimate power class also occurred on the Sun. It lasted 26 minutes.
