Aeroexpress has created a PWA (Progressive Web App) application. The development combines the convenience of a mobile application and the simplicity of a website. This was reported in the manufacturer's press service.
The new application takes up little space in the phone's memory and does not load the system. The key feature of PWA is the ability to work in offline mode.
Tickets for Aeroexpress trains and express buses can be stored on a smartphone. To do this, users need to log in to the application and open each purchased ticket in the "My Tickets" section in advance. After that, the passenger will be able to present the ticket upon boarding even without access to the Internet.
The application does not require downloading from the App Store or Google Play. Just open the aeroexpress.ru website in your browser. Android users can install the application automatically. You can also select the "Add to Home Screen" option in the browser menu.
On iPhone, installation is carried out through the "Share" button in the Safari browser, where you need to select "To Home Screen". After confirmation, the Aeroexpress icon will appear on the screen.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a progressive web application for purchasing tickets was developed by Aeroflot.
