Yandex Travel users can now book seats on long-distance trains and pay for them later. The price is fixed at the time of booking, and the customer does not overpay, even if tickets become more expensive closer to departure. The service is available for trips within Russia.
The new option gives travelers the opportunity to save money and plan trips flexibly at the same time. Now you can choose tickets in advance, at lower prices, and pay for them when it is convenient. In addition, it has become possible to reserve seats on popular routes. This ensures that the trip will not be disrupted due to all tickets being sold out.
If plans change, you can cancel all reserved seats or only some of them — for example, if you were going to travel with a company, but someone couldn't make it.
You can book a seat 90 days or less before the train's departure. The service costs from 99 rubles. Payment is made automatically a few days before the start of the trip, but the date of debiting funds can be specified in the application.
If necessary, you can pay for tickets in advance, choosing the most convenient payment method.
Previously, discounts for users appeared in the Yandex Travel application when buying railway tickets. Now users can see not only special conditions for a specific passenger, but also various benefits and discounts for birthday people and their friends, elderly people and schoolchildren.
