A modern diesel dredger of project C490DM1 has appeared in the Yenisei basin. The vessel, built at the Tsimlyansk Shipbuilding Plant, is capable of processing up to 500 cubic meters of soil per hour and has already been included in the fleet of the Administration "Yeniseirechtrans".
The dredger is designed for hydraulic development, transportation and laying of soil during dredging operations. It will help eliminate "bottlenecks" on routes and ensure a guaranteed depth for the safe movement of vessels along popular inland waterways.
Project C490DM1 is equipped with a milling and hydraulic ripper, which allows it to operate at depths from 1 to 12 meters. The NoniusCSD system is used to control the operation, which remotely monitors the vessel's performance, position on the water and technological process in real time.
The power of the main pump drive reaches 746 kW, which provides a capacity of up to 3 thousand cubic meters of water per hour and 500 cubic meters of prepared soil. Thanks to these indicators, the dredger will be able to significantly speed up dredging operations and increase the throughput of shipping routes.
