At the plenary session of the Russian Forum "Microelectronics 2025", which took place on September 22, the head of the state corporation "Roscosmos" Dmitry Bakanov announced that about 300 rockets will be produced and launched in Russia over the next ten years. This means that the country will produce and launch from 20 to 30 rockets annually.
Conditionally, 1 thousand spacecraft should be manufactured in 10 years. Each device consists on average of 2 thousand components of the radio-electronic industry. In 10 years, 300 rockets will be manufactured and launched, and tens and hundreds of thousands of consumer devices will be developed.
He also added that the national project "Development of Space Activities of the Russian Federation" includes eight federal projects, which outline KPIs by year.
With his statement, the head of "Roscosmos" emphasized Russia's desire to strengthen its position in space and develop high-tech sectors of the economy. The implementation of this large-scale program will be an important step towards achieving these goals.
