Wildberries structures have acquired shares in the "Magas" airport in Ingushetia. This was announced on September 20 by the head of the republic, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov, on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the new owners are "Apr-City/TVD" company from the Wildberries structure. The deal is estimated at 425 million rubles, which significantly exceeds the initial estimate of 250 million rubles. The head of the region noted that the investment will modernize the airport, improve infrastructure, increase capacity and safety.
The proceeds from the sale will be directed to social programs in Ingushetia. Previously, the airport's shares were put up for auction due to the difficult economic situation: after 2022, the facility operated with limited traffic, serving only one flight a day — Magas — Moscow, and the maintenance cost the republic 100 million rubles a year.
Experts note that the purchase of the airport may be related to the support of the Wildberries logistics hub in North Ossetia: last year the company signed an agreement on the construction of a large warehouse complex in the region.
