JSC "Satellite system "Gonet", part of the State Corporation "Roscosmos", presented promising satellite equipment at the International Technology Congress, held in Kubinka from September 16 to 18. The company's exposition was part of the united stand of Roscosmos and enterprises of the rocket and space industry.
The main new products were the "Gonet-Diplomat" terminal and the small-sized "Gonet" satellite modem, completed in the spring of 2025. "Gonet-Diplomat" provides personal satellite communications in remote regions: just turn on the device and connect to it via Wi-Fi from a regular smartphone. At the same time, the terminal can work for several users, allowing them to transmit messages, small files and images.
The small-sized "Gonet" modem weighs only 89 grams and is the most compact satellite communication equipment to date. It can be used on unmanned aerial vehicles, in M2M (machine-to-machine) and IoT systems, providing a two-way satellite channel for any task.
New "Gonet" developments expand the possibilities of satellite communications in hard-to-reach regions of Russia. The compactness and ease of connection of the equipment make it in demand for transport, agriculture, unmanned systems and IoT projects, as well as for strategic infrastructure tasks, including the Arctic and other remote territories.
