"Russian Post" has significantly expanded its letter digitization service for individuals, making it available to residents of 15 cities. Clients from Moscow, Tver, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Voronezh, Saratov, Kazan, Izhevsk, Samara, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk and Vladivostok can take advantage of this innovative service.
Russian Post employees digitize incoming letters and upload them to the client's personal account. These documents will be available for viewing through the Russian Post application in the recipient's personal account. The company emphasizes that the digitization process is carried out in strict accordance with security and confidentiality requirements. The original letters are stored at the post office for a month, after which they are disposed of.
The service was launched in pilot mode in May 2025. It was initially available to residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Tver. The cost of the service is only 63 rubles. For legal entities, the project to digitize written correspondence started three years ago.
