Russian Post has launched testing of Evocargo N1 electric vehicles at the Vnukovo-2 logistics center. The experiment using autonomous trucks will last a month, www1.ru was told in the press service of Evocargo.
Electric trucks will transport parcels around the sorting hub. For this, Evocargo specialists have developed a digital twin of the logistics center, displaying traffic routes.
Characteristics of the Evocargo N1 autonomous electric vehicle:

- integrated machine learning algorithms
- carrying capacity of 2 tons
- the range on a single charge is 200 km
Autonomous transport eliminates the human factor in performing routine tasks.
It is expected that the use of electric autonomous trucks will allow Russian Post to optimize logistics, reduce costs and increase control over transportation.
