A portable laboratory stand for teaching schoolchildren and students the basics of electronics has been developed at the Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University "LETI". The device was presented on August 27-29, 2025, at the XII International Forum "Technoprom-2025" in Novosibirsk. The development was created by scientists from the Research Institute of Control of Complex Systems with the support of the "MGBot" company.
The stand allows conducting practical classes in digital and analog electronics. It is suitable for schools, colleges, and universities, covering disciplines from physics and electrical engineering to mini-computer programming. The device includes a signal generator, a power supply unit, and a digital oscilloscope, making it versatile for studying the laws of physics, circuitry, and the operation of electronic components such as diodes and transistors. Six practical tasks have already been prepared on the stand, including the creation of simple filters and programming.
According to Dmitry Shevchenko, Director of the Research Institute of Control of Complex Systems, the stand makes learning visual and engaging. In the near future, the developers, together with "MGBot", plan to bring the device to the Russian market. This will help schoolchildren and students acquire skills that are in demand in the professions of the future, such as robotics and electric power industry.
This set of developments will primarily help make the study of electronics more visual and engaging. In the near future, together with our industrial partner - "MGBot" LLC, we plan to bring the stand to the domestic market
