Andrey Boginsky has been appointed as the new head of Aurus LLC. Currently, Andrey Pankov, who has been leading the company since January 2023, is listed as the CEO in open sources.
From 2013 to 2021, Boginsky headed JSC Russian Helicopters, and then PJSC Yakovlev. According to media reports, he was dismissed from Yakovlev "for the failure of the civil aviation program" on the instructions of Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
At the same time, another source claimed that the departure may be related to Boginsky's transition to work in the government.
If the information is confirmed, the appointment is a serious step for Aurus, which continues to develop the production of domestic luxury cars.
