A laser drone destruction system (the "Staff" project) will be tested in real combat in October, according to a representative of the developer, LazerBuzz.
A LazerBuzz representative stated that their development is equipped with a thermal imager for classifying objects and a guidance system.
The prototype of the complex was shown for the first time at the "Drone-2025" combat unmanned systems forum, which is taking place in Veliky Novgorod. They also presented an installation for the remote destruction of explosive objects. It operates at a distance of up to 500 m.
