UAV to be showcased at the "Drone-2025" forum in the Novgorod Region

Specialists from the Russian design bureau "Valkyrie" have developed the RD12 fixed-wing drone. The drone can act as a scout and a mother-ship for signal relay. It will be showcased at the "Drone-2025" forum, which will be held in the Novgorod Region on September 6-7.

RD12 Specifications:

• Range — up to 800 km

• Payload delivery up to 6 kg — for 400 km

• Hybrid power plant

• Interchangeable payloads

• Wingspan — 5m

• Can operate via Starlink

• Flights in radio silence conditions

• Flight in strong wind conditions — up to 25 m/s

The development of the Valkyrie Design Bureau can transmit coordinates in real time. The drone is suitable for supporting assault groups and performing FPV missions.

This year, representatives of the design bureau will bring 3 of their own developments to "Drone-2025". They are also involved in other projects. Their expertise includes conducting aerodynamic and structural calculations, developing software and control systems, designing airframes, and conducting R&D.
