A new mining and processing plant will be built in the Khabarovsk Territory at the Milkan iron ore deposit with investments of 650 billion rubles. The project, implemented by Milkan LLC, will allow processing up to 54 million tons of ore per year.
The agreement on the construction of the plant was signed at the Eastern Economic Forum with the participation of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation and the regional government. The regional authorities will provide support for the project at all stages, including the inclusion of the site in the "Khabarovsk" advanced development territory.
The project implementation will be accompanied by geological exploration, preparation of a feasibility study, calculation of reserves and their registration on the state balance sheet.
This is important because the new plant will strengthen the industrial potential of the Khabarovsk Territory, create jobs and attract large investments in the region's economy, contributing to the development of infrastructure and the social sphere.
