Система по распознаванию БПЛА от «ГЛОНАСС» покроет весь Дальний Восток

The technology is being tested for cargo delivery to remote islands

Alexey Raikevich, Head of JSC GLONASS, announced that the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) recognition system based on ERA-GLONASS is ready to cover the entire Far East. He stated this at the EEF.

The first unmanned boats have already been connected to the system, which is being tested in the Sakhalin Region on various routes for delivering cargo to remote islands and on Lake Tunaycha. According to Raikevich, a unified system can work with unmanned transport on land, water, and in the air.

Raikevich said that JSC GLONASS has also created a center for the development of unmanned technologies and robotics. The center aims to form an ecosystem of services for a unified system for identifying unmanned transport, attracting startups and developments from Russian universities. It was created at the suggestion of the Ministry of Transport of Russia as part of the President's instructions for the development of unmanned aircraft systems.
