The Beijing parade showcased another novelty: the FK-3000 anti-aircraft missile and gun system, mounted on an all-terrain chassis.
It is designed to combat drones and low-flying targets. Its ammunition load consists of 96 short-range missiles. Four missiles are placed in one container, which indicates a high density of fire.
The expert also added that in terms of its purpose and functions, this machine is comparable to our"Pantsir".
The complex, developed by China Precision Machinery Import-Export Corporation (CPMIEC), is a mobile short-range air defense system designed to destroy aerial targets such as aircraft, helicopters, drones, and cruise missiles at low altitudes and ranges.
The FK-3000, like the Russian"Pantsir", combines missile and gun armament. This combination provides these complexes with significant firepower and versatility, allowing them to engage targets at various distances: surface-to-air missiles can reach several kilometers, and two 30-mm automatic cannons effectively deal with threats at close ranges.
