During scheduled combat training activities, the crew of the small missile ship of project 21631 "Veliky Ustyug" performed training and combat firing at coastal targets.
Before going to sea, the crew conducted training on the emergency preparation of the ship for battle and sailing.
After arriving in the designated area of one of the Caspian Flotilla's naval ranges, the crew of the MRC "Veliky Ustyug" identified a fortified area of a mock enemy on the coast and opened fire from the A-190 artillery mount. The firing was carried out on the move with the development of elements of combat maneuvering.
Also, the Caspian sailors practiced destroying small-sized surface targets, performing firing at surface targets simulating floating mines, and also carried out measures for anti-sabotage defense of the ship in an unprotected roadstead.
