Pavlovsky Bus Plant (PAZ) has started serial production of the Citymax 8 bus, which is designed for urban and suburban routes and meets accessibility standards for all passengers.
Citymax 8 is a monocoque bus with a length of 8.1 meters, designed for 32 passengers. The cabin has 21 seats facing forward, as well as three additional folding seats. Thanks to the large glazing area and the orientation of the seats, traveling in this bus is as comfortable as possible. The bus has a pneumatic rear suspension for a comfortable ride, and its body is made using durable and corrosion-resistant composite materials.
The bus has been "brought up to" a number of certification requirements, and the final assembly line version looks like this.
The bus is equipped with a 2.5-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 150 hp, which meets the Euro-5 standard. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The braking system is pneumatic, with disc brakes on all wheels.
