The first TBC-2MS transport and passenger aircraft for the Republic of Bashkortostan has been delivered to Ufa. The delivery was carried out as part of a cooperation between the Light Air airline, the PMI Aero distribution company, and the Regional Leasing Company of Bashkortostan.
The TBC-2MS has been serially produced since 2016 by the Russian enterprise Rusaviaprom LLC, and is a deep modernization of the An-2.
The aircraft is equipped with a Honeywell TFE331-12 turboprop engine with a capacity of 1100 hp. Cruising speed is 200 km/h, maximum speed is up to 250 km/h.
The maximum take-off weight of the TBC-2MS reaches 5500 kg, the payload is up to 1500 kg, and the cabin capacity is up to 12 people. One of the most important technical advantages of this machine is a short take-off run of up to 50 m and a landing run of 80 m.
