The Malaysian Air Force is armed with multi-role Russian-made Su-30MKM fighters. The military of this country uses 18 such combat aircraft, delivered from Russia in 2007-2008.
The machine is in many ways similar to the Su-30SM variant, equipped with Western avionics systems. Judging by the latest photos in local media, the machines are actively used to protect the skies of Malaysia and as the main strike force of the country's air force.
At the turn of the 2010s and 2020s, the Malaysian machines were modernized. The Su-30 will serve until 2040. To this end, timely maintenance, repair and modernization of aircraft are carried out.
The Su-30MKM version was equipped with Russian AL-31FP engines with hrust vectoring, a French head-up display, an infrared front view system and a laser target designation pod.
Earlier www1.ru reported that footage of an amazing T-72B3M tank with dreadlocks and a KMT-7 mine trawl has appeared: an example of Russian ingenuity.
