The Yandex Drive carsharing service has started operating in Chelyabinsk. From August 28, residents and visitors of the city can rent more than 200 Haval Jolion cars through the Drive or Yandex Go applications.
Rental is available not only in Chelyabinsk, but also in nearby settlements such as Miass, Ozersk, Kopeysk, and Shchuchye. The service is intended for users from 18 years old with a category "B" driver's license. Per-minute rental starts from 12 rubles, two hours of use starts from 350 rubles.
All cars are equipped with telematics and sensors that promote safe driving. According to the company, more than 90% of Drive drivers follow traffic rules. Chelyabinsk became the ninth city where this service was launched, which also operates in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Saratov, Kaliningrad, and Perm.
