Russia should not agree to organize assembly plants for PD-8 aircraft engines in China. We can only talk about direct exports from Russia, said aviation expert Roman Gusarov.
According to him, China is known for its pragmatism, but such conditions are completely unacceptable for the Russian side.
These are high technologies, if we give them away, we will be left with nothing. Such wonderful gifts cannot be made. You can copy an airplane, but not an engine.
Gusarov recalled that only a few countries in the world know how to design and manufacture aircraft engines, and Russia is in this narrow circle. Therefore, such technologies are not usually distributed even to friendly countries.
The aviation expert added that the PD-8 may be of interest to China, which has a ready-made ARJ21 aircraft. However, our power plant is still undergoing a series of tests to obtain a type certificate, before the final stage for launch into mass production.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the millionth titanium ingot for the construction of the MS-21 and SJ-100 was smelted in Russia.
