Submarine of project 636.3 "Varshavyanka" was at sea for almost 40 days

The diesel-electric submarine B-274 "Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky" (project 636.3 "Varshavyanka"), carrying Kalibr missiles, returned to Vladivostok after completing combat service tasks. This was reported in the press service of the Pacific Fleet.

The submarine commander's report was heard by the Chief of Staff of the Pacific Fleet, Vice Admiral Sergei Rekish. The press service clarified that the diesel-electric submarine crew performed tasks at sea for about 40 days. After a rest, the sailors will begin planned combat training tasks.

The seventh submarine of project 636.3 "Varshavyanka" was built by shipbuilders of the Admiralty Shipyards in 2019. Later it was accepted into the Pacific Fleet.

Submarines of this project are distinguished by their acoustic stealth, for which they are called "black holes" in the West. In addition, they received powerful torpedo and missile weapons.
