Specialists of the flight test complex of PJSC "Yakovlev" assessed the safety of taking the SJ-100 aircraft out of unintentional stalls in pitch and roll with exceeding the limit values. This was reported in the developer's press service.
This function in the aircraft is provided by an integrated control system (ICS) developed by specialists of the KRET concern (part of Rostec).
The flight was performed by a joint crew of test pilots from Yakovlev and the Aviation Register of the Russian Federation. With the crew's actions, the ICS reliably prevents the aircraft from exceeding the limits for indicated airspeed and Mach number.
If, under the influence of atmospheric phenomena, the aircraft still gets into these modes, the ICS allows you to safely bring it back to normal operating flight conditions.
Yakovlev explained that the developed ICS algorithms work in such a way that to bring the aircraft back to normal flight conditions, it is enough to release the side control stick. This way it will return to the neutral position in pitch and roll.
