The future train for the high-speed railway (HSR) will run on the route without a driver. This was announced by the head of Russian Railways, Oleg Belozerov.
The train will be unmanned in the future, highly automated, ultimately unmanned. And this train will be controlled by artificial intelligence, which we also know how to develop. Moreover, it is currently working for us.
According to the head of the railway company, more than 20% of all new developments by designers for creating a high-speed train have been tested and are ready for production.
We are actively conducting certification and moving forward.
Welding of the first train for the first branch of the HSR (Moscow–St. Petersburg) will begin in September 2025. About 150 enterprises were involved in this.
