The Russian hypersonic missile "Zircon" has been dubbed the aircraft carrier killer due to its almost complete invulnerability and impossibility of interception, according to military expert Yuri Knutov.
According to him, good maneuverability and high speed allow for sudden strikes on targets.
Today, thanks to the fact that "Zircon" not only has such a high speed, but also maneuvers, it is almost impossible to intercept it. Thanks to hypersonic missiles that are used from the sea, you can strike suddenly.
The specialist recalled that "Zircon" was originally created to combat aircraft carriers, but recently the missile has also been used against ground targets.
