Для мостов и промышленности: Росатом нарастил мощности по выпуску композитов в три раза

The new production line will allow the company to triple its output from 1.2 thousand to 3.9 thousand tons per year

The Rosatom State Corporation has launched Russia's largest production line for polymer composites in Saransk (Republic of Mordovia).

The launch of the new line will increase the company's production capacity from 1.2 thousand tons to 3.9 thousand tons of products per year. The new facilities will create conversion operations for pressing, thermoplastic molding, machining and assembly of finished structures.

The product range includes pultrusion profiles (long and durable structures made of composite materials) for the construction of bridges and noise barriers, high-performance cooling tower elements, as well as complex composite products for industry and infrastructure. The project will create more than 300 new jobs.

Polymer products are essentially a technology of the future, used in key sectors of the national economy, allowing the creation of new products and contributing to the development of innovative areas of the economy.
Artem Zdunov, Head of the Republic of Mordovia

It is noted that the republic provides support to the project in the form of tax preferences and the provision of land plots. The volume of Mordovia's product supplies for the needs of the state corporation increased by 3.5 times over the previous year.

The project is being implemented jointly with the production cluster of LLC "Polymer Composites Center", which is part of Rosatom.
