New equipment has already been delivered to the plant, lines have been reconfigured, and employees have been trained. In the summer, 200 sets of parts were sent from Tolyatti to St. Petersburg to test technologies and train personnel. Each set includes about a thousand elements — from the body and engine to the interior and chassis.

In September, regular deliveries of car kits for all versions of Iskra will start — sedan, station wagon, and SW Cross, available in different colors and configurations, with manual and automatic transmissions. The cars assembled in St. Petersburg will be completely identical to the models from Tolyatti.

According to plans, up to four thousand cars of the new line will be produced at the "Avtozavod St. Petersburg" by the end of 2025.
