Паром «Петропавловск» готов на 95,8% — сдача намечена на 2026 год

Construction is delayed by sanctions and difficulties with equipment supplies, the contract has risen to 3.8 billion rubles

The CNF22 project cargo-passenger ferry "Petropavlovsk" is 95.8% ready. The vessel is scheduled to be handed over in 2026, according to the state customer's directorate.

According to the shipbuilders, the current geopolitical situation and sanctions restrictions make it difficult to supply equipment, carry out commissioning and testing, which increases construction time.

The construction contract was signed in August 2019; the initial cost was 3.1 billion rubles, and the planned delivery date was set for December 2021. The ferry was laid down in March 2020 (B.E. Butoma Plant).

According to the initial plan, launching was scheduled for October 2022, sea trials for February 2023, and handover for July 2023. However, in August 2022, the contract price was increased to almost 3.8 billion rubles, and the deadlines were shifted. Mooring trials started in February 2025; the ferry was previously scheduled to be handed over in July 2025.
