Ferry service between Sakhalin and Japan is planned to be restored. A trial voyage of the "Hayate" ferry from Korsakov to Wakkanai, Japan, was launched on April 28. There were 8 passengers on board the ship. Ticket prices were 90 thousand rubles for a round trip.
Last year, there was also an attempt to restore maritime communication between these cities: The first trial voyage from the port of Korsakov to Wakkanai was launched on May 31. At that time, it was planned to start regular service on the "Aurora-2" ferry from June 7, but these plans were not implemented.
The website for selling tickets, japanferry.ru, does not work then or now. However, Artemy Lebedev's studio recently presented the logo of the company "Japanferry," which, judging by the description, plans to sell tickets for the ferry between Sakhalin and Hokkaido.
Earlier,www1.ru reported that the maritime terminal in the Kaliningrad regionreceived the "Antei" ferry from St. Petersburg.
