The Kursk Tractor Spare Parts Plant (KZTZ) is selling assets worth 300 million rubles.
The plant was launched in 2019. The total area of the enterprise's land plot is 17 thousand square meters.
A free-purpose production facility with an area of 90 thousand square meters is also being sold for 525 million rubles. KZTZ owns an office building, 3 production workshops, 3 warehouses, a garage, a boiler room, a gas point and a power plant.
Deputy head of the plant, Maxim Shakhov, confirmed the sale. The reason for this step was the development of another business area, which requires additional financial resources.
The Kursk Tractor Spare Parts Plant (KZTZ) was previously the largest machine-building enterprise in the USSR, specializing in the production of parts and spare parts from gray cast iron and aluminum alloys for tractors, agricultural machines and automobiles. The plant was located in the district of the same name in the city and occupied an impressive area of 4 hectares, with a staff of up to 2,000 people.
In December 2010, the plant officially ceased to exist, but it recently resumed its work at a new location, albeit in a significantly reduced production format. This revival was made possible by new investments and a change in strategy, which allows the company to adapt to modern market conditions.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a new high-voltage equipment plant started to be built in Lipetsk.
