The Pacific Fleet frigate "Marshal Shaposhnikov" of Project 1155 conducted training firing with high-precision Caliber and Uran cruise missiles in the Sea of Japan.
The fleet's press service noted that the designated target was successfully hit by anti-ship missiles.
The frigate "Marshal Shaposhnikov" was launched in January 1985 at the "Yantar" shipyard in Kaliningrad as a large anti-submarine ship of Project 1155.
In 2016, the ship underwent repairs and modernization in Vladivostok at the "Dalzavod" ship repair center.
During the upgrade, "Marshal Shaposhnikov" was reclassified as a frigate, and it received modern complexes of strike missile weapons "Caliber-NK" and "Uran".
