Tu-95MS strategic missile carriers of long-range aviation performed a scheduled flight in the airspace over the neutral waters of the Sea of Japan, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
The flight duration was more than 6 hours. Fighter escort was provided by the crews of Su-35S and Su-30SM aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
Long-range aviation crews regularly fly over the neutral waters of the Arctic, North Atlantic, Pacific Ocean, Black and Baltic Seas.
All flights of the Russian Aerospace Forces are carried out in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace.
